A yacht to think about

Published: Fri, 05/30/14

I paused when I read this quote by
French Nobel Prize winner Albert Camus:

"It's a kind of spiritual snobbery that
makes people think they can be happy
without money."

Hmmm...

Do I agree with that?

Well, let's just say I understand where
he's coming from.

As a spiritual being, I've been rich and
I've been poor, though, gratefully, not
in that order.

And I've discovered something.

Both experiences offer unique perspectives
and growth opportunities.

Still, I like being rich better.

For one thing, it's a whole lot more fun.

Money fun?

Sure, why not?

Of course, I didn't always think like this.

In my years of homelessness and poverty,
I had far too many beliefs about money that
kept me struggling to get it.

I write about those beliefs in my free e-book at --

Back then, I can remember hearing someone say,
"If money is your problem, you don't have a problem."

"Good grief," I thought, "What in the world does he know?"

I can answer that now.

What he meant was that if your problem could be solved
with money, there's always a way to get it - earned,
borrowed, etc.

On the other hand, if you have a health issue, a
relationship crisis, or depression, it might not be
so straightforward or quick to fix.

I've also learned that, while having great sums of
money in your life doesn't have to be hard, it does
require something.

That something is clarity.

Clarity is the true coin of wealth.

And when you have that, without a doubt money will
turn from anxiety and contraction into fun and expansion.

Here's a great example that Vincent in my
Miracles Coaching Program shared with me:

"I decided to take a leap of faith and book a
beach house on the East coast for three weeks
in July for a family vacation. Keep in mind that
this is something I would have really struggled
with in the past. Within days of confirming our
reservation, I received an email from an unexpected
source that I would be receiving a check in the mail
for a past due inheritance for the exact same amount
of money ($4,300!) that it cost to rent the vacation
home. As I was reading the email, I nearly fell over.
It's a miracle!"

So when it comes to money, where do your beliefs lie?

Because that's where you'll find your money.

Do you believe you can be happy without money?

Or...do you agree with Rock and Roll Hall of Famer
David Lee Roth who said, "Money can't buy you happiness,
but it can buy you a yacht big enough to pull up right
alongside it"?

I know what I believe.

I'll take the yacht, please.

Joe
