Before you do that, let me say something...
I do not make a dime from what you give. It all goes
to Habitat for Humanity. At the most, if I am a top
fund raiser in this campaign, I could fly to NYC and
personally help former US President Jimmy Carter build
a home for someone.
But that's not why I'm doing this.
I met Jimmy Carter, twice, decades ago, when he was
running for President. I'd love to see him again, but
that isn't my motivation here.
Here's why I'm doing this --
1. I want to help others. I was homeless once. No one
should go without a home. It's your nest. It's your safe
place. I want to help those in need of homes, and Habitat
for Humanity is doing just that.
2. I want to help you. While I write and speak about
giving as a way to transform yourself and the world, I
notice that very few people actually do it. I've set up
a means for you to help others AND to help yourself.
I know you may feel you need the money.
You probably do.
But that's the attitude that keeps money away from you.
You have to learn to trust.
You have to step into the flow of abundance.
One way to do that is by giving.
This is your chance to help yourself and others.
